Rebounding to the Beat

Understanding BPM

What is BPM?

BPM stands for beats per minute — the speed of the metronome beat for your walk.

Each step matches one beat. A higher BPM means a faster walking pace.

Steps match beats

Each beat is one step. At 120 BPM you're aiming for about 120 steps a minute.

Tip: choose a pace you can follow comfortably. There is no one pace that suits everyone.

Step counts in the app are estimates based on the beat. Your actual steps may differ.
